SHANGHAI - Samsung launched its latest tablet that can run
Windows 8 and Android systems.
Q Ativ series tablet has a 13.3 inch screen which can also
sit on top of the keyboard for typing. This tablet comes just two weeks after
Asus issued a similar product.
An analyst said the company is following the trends taking
place in the industry. "This is a very effective way for manufacturers to
offer more value to consumers at the same time when it is difficult to
distinguish the benefits from one mobile device to another," said Chris
Green, principal technology analyst at Davies Murphy Group told the BBC.
Q Ativ run with the new Intel chip. Samsung claims the
battery used in the tablet can last up to nine hours. Chris Green said the
display has been designed light enough to use on a sunny day.
Samsung also showed off another touch screen computer, Ativ
Tab 3 is described as the world's thinnest tablet with Windows 8 operating
system. In addition, Samsung Galaxy NX issued a supported camera android system
and 4G data transfer.
This marks the company's efforts to sell a device that not
only has the quality, but allows editing images and videos can be uploaded to
the internet as well.
